Get Fit...100 Pushups In A Day...You Can Do It!

Get Fit...100 Pushups In A Day...You Can Do It!

Can you do 100 Pushups in a single setting?  The vast majority of us right now are thinking, "Ya, right.  Are you kidding?"

Can you do 50?  How about 2?  Even if you cannot do a single pushup, you could be on your way to being able to do 100 in no time at all.  No, this is not a gimmick.  No, I am not trying to sell anything. (Though you would be stronger if you had your spine in alignment.) And No, you don't have to look like Mr. Olympia to be able to do it.

I was introduced to this free site by a good friend of mine Sarah Stanley, who by the way is training to run in a 100 mile race.  Not drive, Not ride, R U N.  You can check out her journey by clicking here.

Once I viewed the 100 pushups in a day program, I got excited to pass it on to you all.  Check it out and pass it on to your friends and family.  Be sure to post your progress here for all to see.  Just an FYI I will be doing the 100 Pushup challenge also adding in a completion time of 100 seconds.  Have fun getting fit.

Proof: Chiropractic More Effective than Medical Care

Posted on 2009-07-15 11:25:15

CHIROPRACTIC MORE EFFECTIVE THAN MEDICAL CARE FOR OLDER PATIENTS WITH LBP

A new report compares chiropractic care with medical care for older patients with low-back pain (LBP). The randomized controlled trial included 240 people (105 women and 135 men). The participants were all at least 55 years old with subacute or chronic nonradicular LBP. The patients were divided into three groups, including two biomechanically distinct forms of spinal manipulation (SM) or minimal conservative medical care (MCMC). Specifically, “participants were randomly allocated to 6 weeks of care including 12 visits of either high-velocity, low-amplitude (HVLA)-SM, low-velocity, variable-amplitude (LVVA)-SM, or 3 visits of MCMC The study concludes that “biomechanically distinct forms of SM did not lead to different outcomes in older LBP patients and both SM procedures were associated with small yet clinically important changes in functional status by the end of treatment for this relatively healthy older population. Participants who received either form of SM had improvements on average in functional status ranging from 1 to 2.2 over those who received MCMC. From an evidence-based care perspective, patient preference and clinical experience should drive how clinicians and patients make the SM procedure decision for this patient population.” JMPT – June 2009;32:330-43. www.jmptonline.org

This is a great study to confirm numerous studies previously conducted.  It just makes sense that if you have a problem with a nerve, disc, ligament, bone or joint it needs to be fixed.  The reason we have back problems is not because we are deficient in medication or we need to rest it is because something is malfunctioning.  Imagine your car wheels being out of alignment and stressing the tie-rods, transmission, engine, and shocks.  Resting the car by not using it doesn't help.  It also doesn't help to put stronger gasoline in the tank.  It needs to go to a mechanic for an alignment.  Nothing else will help.  That is the same as the spine.

Sams Gives Candy in Pill Bottles

Sams Club Gives Candy in Pill Bottles to Kids

Sams' Club is a membership store and has a checkpoint at the entry where shoppers must show their identification before entering. But at this particular store, employees weren't just checking member cards, they were also promoting the in-store pharmacy by giving children prescription medicine bottles filled with candy.

That's right, they stuffed Tootsie Rolls and Dots into real prescription bottles with real prescription labels and handed them out to children. I think this takes the prize for sending the wrong message about prescription medication.   The link to the original article is above if you can stomach it.

Well now it is time for you to see my true nature and temperment.  I am absolutely sickened to hear this information.  What kind of an absolute idiot would do this to anyone.  With the brainwashing our society is under with the pharmaceutical companies, government on pharmaceuticals and now our stores it is no wonder that the third leading cause of preventable death according to Johns Hopkins is in part due to drugs.   YES legal Drugs.  This putrid mentality is rampant in our society.  We are so concerned with covering up symptoms with medications for everything from ear infections to common colds to ADHD to anxiety and depression it is no wonder that when 16 year old Sarah gets dumped by her boyfriend she turns to crack or a joint.

Drug behavior and dependence stems from our interactions with drugs at a young age.  If Johnny knows something that tastes good or feels good is in a pill bottle, he'll never stop artifically trying to feel good.

Please pass this information on to all you are in contact with.
